Commissions Testimonials
This is a testimonial to you and everyone that works to make Cobalt Studios what it is:
When we are working at our best in this creative collaboration that exemplifies theatre, we support, enrich and improve each other’s work, creating something that is truly more than the sum of its parts. That has certainly been my experience working with Cobalt Studios. For over nine months, Rachel and her great crew worked tirelessly to produce my new Nutcracker for Ballet Idaho and the results were stunning. They met every challenge and deadline head on. Everything they do at Cobalt is imbued with the spirit of an artist, coupled with a strong work ethic. I am forever grateful for the fine work they’ve done to make this new production so successful. They’ve helped create a legacy that will delight audiences for many years to come! I have no doubt that my work was enriched and improved by their collective contributions.—Warmest regards, Christopher M. McCollum, Set and Costume Designer
No one beats Cobalt for process, ease, and price. The work is guaranteed to be Broadway-quality, and I’ve never been disappointed. Easy to get to and easy to work with. Always a pleasure working with Cobalt!

It sounds as though things are going to work out and you’ll be able to help us once again. Thanks for working quickly—the time frame is short for all of us, so…much appreciated.
—Stephen Setterlun, TD, The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.)
It is a very handsome piece and I think the director will be very happy.
Thanks again. Congratulate your team for me.—Reid Thompson, Scenic Designer
Thank you very much for your work on our production of London Assurance. The set has received excellent comments from all who have attended.

Rachel,
Excellent, excellent work. The drop looks just great in the photos. I think you guys achieved everything I asked of you — a painterly look that still feels soft and integrated. Warm and cool colors in the clouds, a solid range of value. There is also a sophistication in the handling of the paint … I see the hand of an experienced scenic artist. You really understood what I was looking for.
—Jim Noone, Scenic Designer, Glimmerglass Festival, “The Music Man”
