In the spirit of protecting the traditions of theatre and supporting artists past, present, & future, Cobalt Studios firmly rejects the use of generative AI in the Arts. We will not accept AI generated artwork for commission work in our Studio. While we recognize this may cost us job opportunities and professional relationships, we hope that our taking a firm stance will embolden others in our industry to examine the ethics of AI generated artwork and the future implications of its widespread use in our industry and beyond.
