Perspective for the Scenic Artist II
Kimb Williamson is a professional scenic artist, casually retired set designer and entirely retired professor. Thirty-ish  years ago, she joined Rachel as team teacher for Cobalt Studios’ Summer Scene Painting and together they taught over 300 students, many of whom continued in Cobalt Studios Scenic Artist Training Program and other careers in academia and professional theatre. During the Catskills Autumn seasons Kimb has taught Perspective for the Scenic Artist and has joined Cobalt’s team of professional scenic artists on commission projects, painting on several Alain Vaes’ NUTCRACKER designs.  Residing in Phoenix, she has painted and/or designed for Childsplay, Actors Theatre, Phoenix Theatre, Southwest Shakespeare Company, Arizona Broadway Dinner Theatre, Music Theatre of Wichita and LaJolla Playhouse and taught Master Classes and designed at several universities through out the country. Kimb serves on the USITT Board of Directors and is a Fellow of USITT where she has been a tireless advocate for student engagement and involvement and promotes professional growth throughout the entertainment production industry.
